IT’S OKAY TO BE SAD.

Ever noticed how you hear loads of messages, teachings, and expositions on being happy always, and surprisingly your mood never improves? Well it has happened to me a few times, and at first I thought I was probably having a midlife crisis, but again I wasn’t at that age yet (even though anything is possible in today’s world). Anyways, my conclusion is; it’s okay to be sad. Honestly, I think most of us overlook this fact, and that is why we are sad in the first place. We go through life in some robotic manner, moving from one phase of life to another while playing the super hero. Every now and then we hear how we should stay happy always and then the Doctors pitch in and tell us the many benefits of smiling and how many nerves we use. Though I do not dispute any of these, but can we be honest with ourselves for a minute – it’s okay to be sad.
